A few months ago I found myself sitting amongst a sea of pale hued paper, Flobots beating through my speakers, sending waves of inspiration to wash over my soul. Desperately putting pen to parchment, in a failing attempt to record my thoughts before they waved goodbye and dissolved. I believe not only that the world can be saved, but that I am to have a hand in it. Even if I have to do it one person at a time. I am relieved to know that I am not the only one working towards this goal. Never stop doing what you do, it is making a huge difference. I look forward to seeing you guys/girl live at the end of the month in Chicago, and to working on one of your street teams. We need more heroes like you guys/girl. Our world can be saved! Thank you. I have not been so affected by a song in a long time; the fact that you have deeply touched (and unnerved) a 42 year old mother of 6 living in the suburbs is a testament to the power of this music. Americans should all recognize the deep hole we have dug and the scope, depth and banality of the evil being perpetrated in our names throughout the world. It is encouraging to see at least some folks standing up and taking action.
