My name is Serafin Sanchez, I am the Music Coordinator for Flobots.org. We are working to expand the Flobots music program at Denver Childrens Home into the greater community. I would love to talk with you about how to get involved. We are having regular benefit concerts where partner artists can perform at. We are also looking for artists that would be interested in working with youth as a music mentor.

I and my band, Sarina simoom, are so inspired by what you have done. We have many times talked about doing something similar with our music, but haven’t known how to get started. I am a person committed to working as a social change agent – I currently work for the CO coalition for the homeless as a caseworker. But I would like to take music into that realm. Any suggestions? How can we get involved in more benefit concerts? Is there funding for such a thing that we could organize ourselves? Lots of questions. Any suggestions on how to get involved would be great.
