We are pleased to announce that, beginning May 1st, Laura Bond will be the executive director of Flobots.org! Laura exhibits a unique combination of strengths that we believe will prove vital to our still-very-young organization. As former music editor for Westword Newspaper, she is familiar with the inner workings of the music industry. During her time with Ethiopia Reads, which plants libraries for kids in Africa, she demonstrated an ability to plan and support the growth of a start-up organization. In addition, she has been involved in grassroots youth arts initiatives such as the North High School hip-hop theater program. These skills and experiences convinced us that she is the perfect person to lead Flobots.org. Please join us in welcoming Laura to the Flobots.org/Fight With Tools community.

Hola Laura. It was great to meet you at the potluck/meeting.
Laura, Congratulations. What a great opportunity for you and the Flobots are lucky to have you! It has been great to get to know you.
Welcome to the org! We are pleased to have you.
Hey Laura,
I’m part of an all volunteer non-profit in Cincinnati, would love to connect and exchange some ideas when you get a chance.
Cheers,
Johnmark
Congratulations on your new position, Laura. I hope that your first 3 months have been fruitful ones. I am Stephen’s “Aunt Nay.” Please send me info about applying for financial support for children and youth who are victims of domestic violence in my home county, Orange County, NC. The Flobots performed an AWESOME, standing room only concert here last fall and have a HUGE following here. I look forward to receiving this information.
